As one of the new generation of grey scale phantoms, the Precision Small Parts Grey Scale Phantom RMI 404GS provides new advanced technology for measuring image quality of small parts and intra-cavity ultrasound scanning systems. With added grey scale targets, this small parts phantom also measures contrast, temporal resolution, and system linearity.
The RMI 404GS offers carefully placed targets concentrated in the top few centimeters of the phantom. Resolution patterns and all vertical and horizontal targets are made of 0.1 mm nylon fibers for better detail definition and spatial resolution. Three grey scale targets of -6, +6 and +12 dB relative to the background material, with the same attenuation properties and one 7 mm anechoic cyst to evaluate system noise and geometric distortion are included.
